August 2013 Meeting

Another successful meeting!! Tommy did a talk about "Foam formation and stability". He talked about a lot of stuff, too much to mention here. What I can tell you is he says chucking in a hand full of wheat malt helps with good head retention.

Another four members paid their subs, we now have 16 official members.

Things seem to be on track for the brew club beer festival (29 September), from my count we have at least seven batches and the number seems to be growing.

Glen treated us again, he got hold of some Urbock and was kind enough to share some with the club members on the night. I saw some in the Prestons Walmer store, grab a six pack if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

In other news, pe will be hosting a eastern cape craft beer festival on the 19th of October so safe the date.
